Media mega merger
This morning i overslept, so i got to work at 10am. In order to work 8 hours (with half-hour lunch), I stayed until 6:30. There were certain benefits to this schedule. First off, Mike the tech took the 400MB hard drive from my computer and replaced it with a 4GB drive. Together with the other hard drive, my computer now weighs in at a hefty 5.1 Gigabytes! I also made my work area a bit more feng-shui by moving some lighting from the workbench that is used as a shelf to the workbench that is actually used as a workbench. Tomorrow we have a meeting and we have to turn in the survey they gave us. The survey has questions like “of the tasks you do name 3 of your strengths and weaknesses”, “what do you like least about working here”, “what do you like best about working here”… I really don’t wan’t to respond to these loaded questions… who would? Oh well…
I had a media overdose today. On my lunch break, I bought the new Official PlayStation Magazine (with the demo disk that i haven’t played yet) and i heard a radio interview with a sportscaster from New York. On my way home, they replayed the same interview. Then when I got home, my new Wired Magazine had arrived in the mail (i haven’t opened it yet). Then I got a call from my friend who is hosting a Halloween Party. We ended up instant messaging later and he informed me of a group called atmosphere from the Twin Cities and a place where you can hear samples of their music (not bad hmm… maybe i’ll get their next album when it comes out on the 23rd). Of course every new magazine has plenty of links to check out, like this weird flash game or this bizarre ninja site (i dig the remixed song on this page)… I’ve got a survey to fill out ….
