Anyway, since Christmas I had been looking for a new set of speakers (since my old ones were pretty bad). I looked at the Logitech Z-640 5.1-channel speaker system, but it wasn’t as powerful (only 80W RMS). Plus, I didn’t need surround sound since I don’t have any material for that kind of stuff. So, I finally found these after the REALLY GOOD review on CNET.com on them. I first bought them for about $115 at one store first, but then they cancelled my order because they didn’t have any stock, even though on their site it said it was available and in-stock. So, I tried to order it from a different site (www.2buystore.com) for about $113. They also said that they had it in stock, but after a couple of days when they “processed my order,” they sent me an email and I found out that they wouldn’t have it in-stock until January 18, 2005. So I waited until then, but THEN, they sent me ANOTHER email saying that they wouldn’t have any in-stock until Jan. 27. I sent an email back asking them if they would really truly have them on that date. They responded and said that it was just an estimate. I was SICK of waiting, so I cancelled my order. It was VERY hard to find a store that had them in-stock online, even Amazon was completely out. But then, I found out that the 4 closest local CompUSA superstores ALL had the product in-stock, FOR REAL! So I ordered them from CompUSA for an in-store pick-up, and so then today, we went to pick them up! These speakers are UNBELIEVABLE (especially for the PRICE, too)!
