Lillydale Lake is an artificial lake and wetlands area created in Lilydale, Melbourne, Australia Excersise. . The park is located in which spans more than 100 acres and includes extensive recreational facilities Excersise.
The lake covers 28 hectares with a dam 440 meters long Excersise wall. There are more than 10 miles of trails shared a room in the community and meeting facilities, a monster game, toilets, barbecue and picnic area Excersise. One boat has a launching pad for navigation without Excersise engine. There are two areas where dogs can excersise "off leash"
History
Areas of Lilydale town are low and susceptible to flooding of the Olinda Creek Excersise.
In 1853 Surveyor James Blackburn saw the site as a place of capture water, but Yan Yean Reserve was built instead Excersise.
The local council proposed a park of 65 hectares in the year 1969 with several proposals, but due to lack of funds was no Excersise. Following the floods in September 1984, the construction of the lake was proposed to prevent future flooding and provide recreational facilities Excersise. Construction began in 1988 and was completed in June 1990 Excersise. It was formally opened to the public on July 7, 1990 Excersise.

Lilydale or Lillydale?
Prior A merger of several municipalities that make up the Region of Yarra Ranges in 1994, the suburb of Lilydale (written with an L) is in the District of Lillydale (double L) Excersise. It is believed that when the shire was declared in 1872 by spelling Lillydale with 2 L 's was a mistake that has never been corrected and has persisted to this day for anything associated with the former District Lillydale Excersise. Hence the spelling of the names of Lillydale in Lillydale Lake and the Museum of Lillydale Excersise. Anything associated with the suburb of Lilydale is written with a single L Excersise.
