Pickering Town Football Club are an English football club based in Pickering, North Yorkshire Pickering Crest . . The club was founded in 1888 and continues today in Pickering Crest. For the 2007-08 season, members of the Northern Counties East League Soccer First Division Crest.
They Pickering are currently in the Northern Counties East League Soccer First Division Pickering Crest. The club is currently managed by former assistant coach Mark Wood Ipswich Town after former player Alex Mathie resigned on January 6, 2007 Pickering Crest.
History

Pickering Town Football Club was first established in 1888, for many years competed in the local club soccer Pickering Crest. One of the local leagues that competed in the Football League York, which joined Division Two, in 1953-54 Pickering Crest. 2003-04 season was very interesting for the club as they were in the upper half of the ranking all season and for much of it, with games in hand, seemed possible championship contenders Pickering Crest. But with a saturation of the facility, and possibly with the knowledge that promotion to the re-structured Unibond League was not an option due to the classification of soil at the end of the season the club were unable to capitalize and ended in a creditable 5 th position Crest.
Early Pickering in the 2004-05 season due to increasing business commitments Steve Brown resigned as manager to be replaced by former Ipswich Town and Newcastle United striker Alex Mathie, a veteran of over 200 league games and 20 years as a professional Pickering Crest.
After much to improve the work in recent years, including the construction of pockets, a new 120 seat stand, covered with permanent housing and, more recently, other 100 seats standing behind the "final score" goal, the club now have one of the best grounds in the league Pickering Crest.
Recent events
In the 2005-06 season the club reached the quarterfinals of the FA Vase more in the club 's history Pickering Crest. The team eventually lost out to Nantwich Town Pickering Crest.
After An encouraging start in the 2006-07 season, the results took a turn for the worse during the winter period, and a race of a victory in eleven games led to the resignation of director Mathie as of January 6, 2007 Crest Pickering. Within a week, the board announced that it had appointed former player and Pickering Mathie 's assistant Mark Wood as the new administrator Pickering Crest.
